My father lost three of his fingers in 1994.

It was cold that morning in the field, but the hard work was done for the year and all that was left was to load some seed into the truck.

He reached into the auger to get a sample for the elevator agent and the machine grabbed the collar of his glove. The auger took his index finger, middle finger, the end of his ring finger, and the glove.

He told me that in hind site, that was the easy part.

The hard part was the aftermath of what severe trauma like that can cause: Shame, depression, the fact that you have been mutilated for life.

There is a serious lack of options in the world for when the injury has healed and you’re just trying to get on with life.

After years of struggling with artificial-looking and expensive prosthetics, my dad had an idea.

He took the problem into his own broken hands. He designed an enhanced ring that would cover the injury and allow for some functionality.

Right away, he noticed the burning and tingling phantom pain he felt in his fingers had vanished.

Minutes later, he realised these rings looked incredible on his hand.

His anxiety and depression began to fade. He could work again. People would stop him in the street and ask where he got them because they had a brother, sister, aunt or uncle, that was living with the same affliction.

He was a new man. But now he had to help...

    Fast-forward 25 years.

After graduating from art school, I took up metallurgy, jewellery-making, and 3D Printing. For four years, I tinkered with design after design, poured hundreds of moulds, and experimented with metal, until I finally found the perfect balance between style, comfort, and function.

We are now proud to reveal a product that is eloquent, uniquely crafted to each hand, and most importantly...

    Life-changing.

We are blurring the line between prosthetics and style.

    This is the answer.

Customized for you and your particular need.

At Goldfingerco we are your one stop shop for custom sized finger splints, orthosis and prosthetics. We work with you to properly size and manufacture your new prosthetic jewellery! Choose a base design and tailor the ring to your specific needs and desires. Choose everything from size and length to metal fineness and gemstones if desired. We can also recycle old gemstones you may not be able to wear now and incorporate them into your new design! Contact us to start the conversation!

Sizing kits are also available for those who want to feel the product and decide their own sizing. We mail you out a kit with your approximate sizes in a few standard design options to try on in the comfort of your own home! Want the splint or prosthetic longer? shorter? thicker gauge? Adjustable? We can make it happen. All services are in house so when you deal with us, you only deal with us! We love a challenge and we make adjustable rings for those tough to fit and remove applications!

    Welcome to Goldfingerco

Goldfingerco offers plaster mold making and 3-D scans of the hand that can be seamlessly incorporated into CAD (Computer Aided Designs) 3-D designs. Being able to model in 3-D both physically and digitally allows for an in depth and comprehensive experience. Now not everyone will need to cover so many bases to get to a perfect Goldfinger ring, but we have those skill sets available if requested.

Once we have a design that you like, we can go ahead and 3-D Print that design in a castable resin. Once the ring is in resin, we complete the lost wax casting process and cast using either our Centrifugal or Vacuum casting machines.

The Rings are de-sprued, hand finished and assembled at the jewelers bench to the clients desired finish and specifications.
