There is nothing harder (in my opinion) than trying to size a full finger ring with adjustable sizes and articulation when the finger does not want to be restricted in any way!

The problem with designing the full finger flex ring is that the finger bulges when flexed and the change in shape and proportion makes sizing and comfort very difficult to get right.

To overcome this challenge, I have designed a hinged release mechanism that will expand to a certain degree with the flexed finger.  The aim is to allow for the finger bulge and retain grip on the finger so that the ring is wearable!
